若要為852 Films的作品下註解，或許「非主流」、「實驗」、「另類」會是最常出現的字眼。但對何超 @josie_ho_chiu 來說，這些都只是選擇背後的結果，不是出發點。「我們不是大公司，拍不起大製作，所以經常拍一些小製作，那就不能拍商業套路。怎樣才可以搶眼球？風格要夠強烈。」她明白市場規則，小製作要突圍就得另闢蹊徑。

When describing the works of 852 Films, words like “non-mainstream,” “experimental,” and “alternative” often come to mind. But for Josie Ho, these are simply the outcomes of her choices — not the starting point.

“We’re not a big company, so we can’t afford large-scale productions. That’s why we often make smaller films — and with that, we can’t follow the usual commercial formulas. So how do we grab attention? The style has to be bold and striking.”
She understands the rules of the game — for a small production to stand out, it has to carve its own path.
